PJA64X'S USEFUL SU TIPS
HACKER WARNING
You may see elsewhere in my pages, or be aware already, that people at SU do get hacked, losing all their archives. One of my good friends experienced this around Easter 2007. However, thank God, she was smart enough and brave enough to rebuild her wonderful site.
OTHER WRONGDOERS & SU RELUCTANCE
Many stumblers have reported stalkers, relationship collectors, swindlers, love frauds, abusive e-mailers, abusers of minorities, spammers, and nasty people who deliberately write negative reviews of stumblers in order to offend and to create what they call 'fun' and 'humour'.
SU, sadly, has many wrong types as well as a lot of good people. Moreover, the SU bosses seem reluctant to cast out all the wrongdoers. So please be very careful, look out for wrong sorts and also protect your pages by creating stronger passwords
and changing them frequently.
STRONGER PASSWORDS
Press 'Tools' on the SU toolbar to change your password. Make sure you have 10 spaces or more for your password...the more spaces you have, the stronger the password...and compose it of both letters and numbers. Please change your password
frequently...once every month for instance.
Some may find these simple precautions exaggerated. But those of us who have seen and shared my friend's agony know what a heartbreak such an event can be. So please be wise. Please share this information with your friends and stay alert. When the good people unite, wrongdoers tend to keep away!
