JUST ALEC
1000yardwadcutte
I write this with a heavy heart. Alec (1000yardwadcutte) - an extraordinary man, a dear friend, a genuine God-lover, and a brave stumbler whom you have been keeping in your thoughts and prayers following my prayer and positive energy posts - has sadly passed away.
Please keep Alec and his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers, and bless them all with your positive energies at this difficult time. Please take the link below to visit his site which is currently being looked after by his brother.

Alec was an extraordinary man - tough and dangerous. Just look at how he described himself in his blog:
"Retired Spec. Agent 30+ yrs with Intel, Interdiction, enforcement agency, Cert. 5 gun Master. Interests include Ballistics, Gov't waste, politics, and crime. I am a follower of my Lord Jesus Christ. Relatively harmless old guy! I reserve the right to define, "Harmless"! Ardent supporter of our 2nd Amendment rights! As username suggests, was a sniper in S.E. Asia. Educ: BA/BS, MBA, PhD - Advisor to Pres' Ford & R.Reagan. Highest risks encountered, Pres Ford's errant golf balls."
He was also courageous, humorous, self-mocking, well-informed, and forthright. One might disagree with one or two of his opinions but one could never doubt his sincerity, honesty and intelligence. Alec's impending death did not bother him either. He was accepting and happy - due to his faith in Jesus Christ - and often joked about it!
Alec was also very kind and loving. He treated me as a friend and brother from the first, effortlessly evoking the same responses from me. Although he was here at SU for a mere 17 weeks, we got to know and understand each other very well.
Alec was a tough guy, never lacking in spirit. But he was also of Spirit. His belief in God was genuine and total, and he took considerable pains to express and explain his great message that EVERYONE, even the greatest sinner ever, can be saved. He was absolutely right. Alec's conviction might have been grounded in Christianity but, as a long time expert in spiritual metaphysics, I can endorse this great universal truth only too easily.
Well, Alec, my dear friend and brother! You may have left us, but you knew perfectly well where I stand on the issue of death. There is none! That which is made of Spirit within us cannot- and does not - die. Death represents transcendence, a change of garments, a new form, a new beginning - at a still higher level. So, dear Alec, there won't be any more sadness from me. You are of God, with God, and in God, and we will renew our friendship in a higher dimension in the fullness of time.
God bless you and guide you, and fill your dear heart with all that your blessed soul desires. And may God watch over all your loved ones today - and always. Amen.
